It was launched at Piazza Bellini and Piazza Municipio. Next up was Piazza Dante, the Galleria Principe, and Via Port’Alba. And the latest addition to Napoli WiFi, WiFi Libero in Città is Città della Scienza in Bagnoli.

On October 9th, Fondazione Idis launched free WiFi at the Città della Scienza, Naples Science Center complex in the area of the large piazza at the entrance to the museum. Anyone with a WiFi device can connect to the internet during the days/hours of operation of the Science Center after filling out a short registration form.

Access to the network at other locations throughout the city is through the authentication service of Telecom Italia and the SMS system. Just find the network Comune-NA Piazze WIFI. This will connect you to a registration/log-in page where you enter your cell phone number to receive an SMS with your user name and password. Access to the internet is free for 3 hours a day.
