Naples Capodichino (International) Airport is located in the northeast corner of the city, just 6km from the city center. The airport services over 6 million passengers a year via its direct connections to 12 national and 59 international destinations including Paris, London, Istanbul, and Barcelona. An additional +50 charter flights transport passengers to destinations such as Cairo, Djerba, Ibiza, Monastir, Palma De Mallorca, Rhodes, Sharm el Sheikh, Tel Aviv and Tenerife.

Airport Connections & Services

Airport Parking – ample short, medium, long term and valet parking is available at the airport.


  • Naples Alibus Airport Shuttle – the Naples Alibus Airport Shuttle transports passengers between Naples Capodichino Airport and downtown Naples stopping only at the Central Train Station and Naples Molo Beverello Port.
  • Curreri Viaggi bus – transport from the airport to Sorrento. The Curreri Viaggi bus is much more convenient than the Circumvesuviana train or taking the ferry. The bus stop is located in front of the departures terminal.
  • Provincial and Regional Buses – buses to Avellino, Battipaglia, Benevento, Caserta, Potenza, Salerno and Serre also serve the airport.

Car Rental – a variety of car rental agencies operate at Naples Capodichino Airport. Most have offices in the arrivals concourse. A free shuttle transports passengers to the rental car lots.

Left Luggage – located on the first floor of the terminal at the departures concourse near security. Open daily 05.00 – 22.00, € 7,00/day.

Taxi – there is a taxi rank in front of the arrivals concourse. There are fixed tariffs from the airport to most tourist areas in the city. They are listed on the Tariff Card (in Italian and English) on the back of the front seat of the taxi and must be requested before setting off.
