Sunday 6th September is the European Day of Jewish Culture.  On this day, the public is invited to discover the artistic and cultural Jewish heritage in all its richness, its history, rituals and traditions.  The events in Naples will be held at the Synagogue in Via Santa Maria a Cappella Vecchia.

Pompei, un’emozione notturna‘ started on 5th August, and runs until 20th September.  The project has been created to appreciate one of the most extraordinary and most visited archaeological sites in the world, which is offering the public summer evening visits, light installations, artistic suggestions and cultural meetings, at the ruins of Pompeii.

Every Sunday, enjoy ‘Sundays at the Solfatara‘, a walk around a natural oasis, at the Solfatara.

As part ofIn the footsteps of the Grand Tour, there are the following events: Every Sunday in May, June, July, September and October, for  ‘The Campania of Wines‘, there are guided tours with dedicated transport to villages, castles, archaeological remains and museums combined with winery tours and wine tastings between art, history and traditions;  Every Saturday from May to October, for ‘The Campania of Flavours‘, there are guided tours with dedicated transport in art places, villages and monuments combined with visits to producers to observe the production process, flavor workshops and tastings of typical products in order to discover and appreciate the Slow Food Presidia and products of excellence in Campania; Every Sunday in May, October and November, for ‘The Campania of Music‘, there are a series of events with guided tours to the notes of melodies that have enchanted and captivated the world, breaking down the barriers between classical and folk music. In melody, everything…  Starting on 28th June and running until 13th September, is ‘Campania by Night‘.  At nightfall the archaeological sites of HerculaneumPaestum, Minori and the nature of Vesuvius return to life beneath the stars.


The Pomigliano Jazz Festival 2015 runs until 13th September.  The Eivind Aarset Quartet are performing a concert at sunset on Sunday 6th, at Conetti Vulcanici del Carcavone – Pollena Trocchia.

As part of the XXVII Festival delle Ville Vesuviane 2015, Eduardo De Crescenzo is in concert at the Parco sul Mare della Villa Favorita at Herculaneum on Monday 7th.

E…state con noi 2015‘, the schedule of events over the summer in Capri, is now in full swing and ends on 12th September.  There are many events lined up, from music to theatre and even a Folklore Festival!


Every weekend there is the Campagna Amica Coldiretti Market at various locations in Naples and the surrounding area.

Every Sunday in the pedestrian area of Via Diaz, there is the Mercato del Contadino – a wonderful market of all the best local produce.

Every Sunday at the Hippodrome Park of Agnano, there is an antique, craft and flea market.

Every Sunday at the Fiera di Nocera Inferiore, there is the Salone Dell’Usato, a large, covered market, selling crafts, antiques, collectibles and modern antiques/art.


The ‘“Sono qui, puoi sentirlo?”‘ exhibition by Ina Otzko opens on Friday 4th and runs until 3rd October, at the Castel dell’Ovo.

Napoli Jazz Fest 2015 kicks off on Saturday 5th with a preview by Danilo Rea, at Convent of San Domenico Maggiore.  The festival runs until 13th September.


The Ravello Festival 2015 comes to a close on Friday 5th, with a concert by the Mariinskij Orchestra and the Choir of the National Academy of Saint Cecilia, playing music by Wagner, at the Belvedere of Villa Rufolo.

Another festival coming to an end this weekend, on Sunday 6th, is Ridere 2015.  On Monday Rosalia Porcaro is in ‘Mamme, suocere e vajasse’, at the Teatro Totò.

Napoli Pizza Village continues on the Lungomare this weekend and ends on Sunday 6th.  Napoli Pizza Village represents an opportunity for workers in the field to showcase their talents, but most of all for the general public to try some of the best pizzas in Naples, in one place, thanks to the presence of 49 of the most renowned Neapolitan pizzerias.  Don’t miss it!

Don’t forget, every Sunday at 10.30 there is a mass in English at the Christ Church in Naples.
