Every first Sunday of the month throughout Italy, all state-run museums, galleries, archaeological ruins, parks and monumental gardens are free to visit. In Naples, that includes Pompeii, Herculaneum, the Stabian Villas, Cuma, Baia, Capodimonte, Palazzo Reale, the San Martino Charterhouse and more.
