There are over 100 reasons why I love the city, and another 100 more food related reasons. The city has it all, the sea, hills, history, culture, chaos along the city streets and serenity along the coastline. And, the food, PASTRIES, pizza, fried treats, and creative cucina povera. The best part of the city, though, is always the Napoletani. On each trip to this city, I’ve met at least a handful of people who welcome me, help me, look out for me, bring a smile to my face and are the reason I continue to return and love Napoli.

I can’t say enough good things about Naples! It is a fascinating and exciting city with wonderful people and some of the best food in Italy. Don’t let the negative stories discourage you from visiting this true gem of a city.

Naples is indeed a vibrant, beautiful and complex city. In two weeks, we did a lot of exploring, spent lots of time with locals we had met before, and made new Neapolitan friends. We are very much in love with this city.

There are places that you go to, and once is enough. And then there is Napoli.
