Description

Sundays were made for strolling and there is no better place to do that than at the Fiera Antiquaria Napoletana, Naples Antiques Market. Whether buying or just browsing, the market’s eclectic assortment of antiques and junk will keep you occupied for hours and will make for a great weekend jaunt. Set in one of the most picturesque parts of the city, the market runs along the road that separates Villa Comunale Park from Via Caracciolo, Naples seafront promenade, Il Lungomare.

With the park on one side and the sea on the other, there is plenty to see and do while you are there. Wander through Villa Comunale Park and let the kids romp around in the playground or take a spin around the park's mini roller rink. Visit the oldest Aquarium in Europe at the Anton Dohrn Zoological Station. Take a walk along the water, or stop and while away the day at any of the four cafe's along the Villa Comunale. With Lungomare now closed to traffic, you’ll find it a great place to walk, bike ride, or roller blade and you can even rent a variety of motorized and non-motorized vehicles near the entrance to Villa Comunale at Piazza Vittoria.

The market is at Villa Comunale on select Saturdays and Sundays throughout the year, see the 2013 schedule below.
