ISI Arti Associate Contemporary Art Gallery

Description

The creation of a group of passionate and dedicated art professionals Bettina Mattii, Umberto Martinez, Gianluca Marangi and Marina Romano and in partnership with Luciano Manfellotti, ISI Arti Associate opened its doors in October 2010. Taking the Naples contemporary art scene by storm, ISI Arti is a dynamic venue where space, spectators and artistic creations collide.

Tucked away on one of Chiaia's characteristic alleys, the gallery's location stands in stark contrast to its 500 square meters of open contemporary space distributed over three levels. Crisp white walls, concrete floors, concept lighting, and gentle curves and arches contrasted against angular forms serve as both the creation and the medium. Each level, each space revealing a different artistic expression - painting, sculpture and photography, music and dance, installation and performance art, video, design and gastronomy.

A center for research and artistic experimentation, the Isiart contemporary art gallery hosts temporary exhibits and shows that include the works of both noted and emerging personalities in the art world. Isiart presents a series of themed exhibits throughout the year along with special exhibits such as Los Angeles artist Mark Steven Greenfield's Blackatcha... Once again.

Contemporary furniture and prototypes realized by new designers and the ISI art team along with accessories and artistic handicrafts are on display at the Disisign Design Store.

The Visiolab hosts a variety of events and a vast program of videos, shows, conferences, workshops and performances. The ISI creative laboratory headquarters is also located here.

The art of gastronomy is found at the Bisistrot Bistro where you can enjoy quality food, wines, cocktails, and select blends of coffee and tea. Open for lunch, the Bistro serves traditional Italian recipes that are reinterpreted by Chef Imma Ferraro. Dinner is available by reservation and private dinners can be arranged. Bisistrot also promotes tastings and events that revolve around flavor and the fusion of food and art.

As agency of art, ISI has a collective of professional people who realize stylistic, architectural and design projects. Outside of the center, ISI promotes and organizes exhibits in public, private and alternative locations.

Dedicated to promoting artistic expression in all its forms, ISI Arti is contributing to the understanding and promotion of contemporary art in Naples, Italy and around the world.
