Are you all looking forward to a lovely long weekend?  Are you going anywhere nice?  Naples perhaps?!

You can’t have failed to notice that this weekend is Easter weekend, so if you’re in Naples and wondering what to do, here are some ideas.

First of all, here is a list of the museum opening times for Sunday 20th and Monday 21st April.

If you’ve got little ones, or even if you haven’t, why not head to Naples Science Center (Città della Scienza), for some eggy fun!  Even better, why not go by bike?  If you do, there are special activities to test your agility and skill.  For more information, click here.

Maybe you’re looking for some history.  If so, why not take a guided tour of the fascinating Gaiola Underwater Park.  The tours are provided by Centro Studi Interdisciplinari (CSI) Gaiola and there are lots of different options – by kayak, glass bottomed boat, or diving.

If you’re looking for some culture this weekend, then why not try the International Festival of Neapolitan Music of the XVIII Century.  A celebration of music, food, guided tours and more.  The festival runs from 17th – 26th April.

Alternatively, the Andy Warhol ‘Stores’ exhibition opens at PAN on Friday 18th April and runs until 20th July.  An exhibition of 180 of his works, paying particular attention to his relationship with Naples.

BUT…. you cannot have Easter without food!  Why not have a look at some traditional Neapolitan Easter dishes, for example pastiera or casatiello.

Of course there are many more events currently on around Naples, details of which you can find on our events pages.

Have a wonderful Easter weekend.  Make the most of the long weekend, get out there and see what’s going on in Naples.  I wish you all a very happy Easter.
