SO much going on over the next few days that I’ve decided to divide the events even more.

Tonight, Thursday 6th November, ‘The Judge‘ is being shown in ENGLISH at the Cinema Modernissimo, as part of their weekly series of movies in original language.

Also tonight, Thursday 6th November, watch some football, with SSC Napoli vs Young Boys at the Stadio San Paolo.

If you are interested in Caravaggio, then head to the Museo Diocesano, on Sunday 9th November, to watch the ‘21 Tableaux Vivants‘.

Maybe you fancy a bit of culture or history, then why not take the GAN (Gruppo Archeologico Napoletano) guided tour of the Villa di Caius Olius Ampliatus in Ponticelli.  Sunday 9th November.

This Sunday, 9th November, sees the next ‘Ecological Sunday‘, a driving ban for cars in the city centre.  There are exceptions, but please click on the link for more information.

On Tuesday 4th November, ‘Wrong Play, My Lord!‘ started at Sala Assoli.  Running until 26th November, on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, the play is an adaptation, in English, of Shakespeare’s ‘Hamlet’, with 3 actors interpreting 8 roles!

As part of Napoli Jazz Winter 2014, tonight (Thursday 6th November) you can see the Mark Turner Quartet in concert, performing tracks from the new album ‘Lathe of Heaven’, at the Auditorium Salvo D’Acquisto.

On Saturday 7th November, Subsonica are performing at the Teatro Palapartenope.

If you prefer something a little more classical, then on Sunday 9th November, as part of the Alessandro Scarlatti 2014/15 Concert Series, you can enjoy ‘Music for the Last Days of Humanity‘ at Castel Sant’Elmo.

This weekend there is the ‘Creattiva‘ fair at the Mostra d’Oltremare.  From 7th to 9th November, ‘Creattiva‘ is not a simple showcase of products, but it is a true meeting point for thousands of visitors who want to discover new trends in the world of creativity and get in touch with exhibitors, operators, manufacturers and distributors of several different materials.

Also this weekend is the fascinating Chestnut Sagra in Montella, between Benevento and Salerno.  From 7th to 9th November, you can celebrate the delicious fruit, which is so popular at this time of year.

As if both of the above weren’t enough, then why not try ‘Aestetica‘, also at the Mostra d’Oltremare, from 8th to 10th November.  The business to business event represents a reference point for workers in the sector from the centre-south of Italy.

The Campagna Amica Coldiretti Market will be held on Saturday 8th (at Piazza S. Di Giacomo in Posillipo) and Sunday 9th November (at Piazza San Vitale in Naples, Viale Campi Flegrei in Bagnoli and at the Sagrato Parrocchia S. Maria del Carmine in S. Giorgio a Cremano).  You’ll find local products and healthy and affordable food with low environmental impact: fresh fruits and vegetables, wines, olive oil and vinegars, cheeses, honey, salumi, bread and bakery products, and plants and flowers.

Finishing on Saturday 8th November, ‘Eduardiana: Homage to Eduardo di Filippo‘, celebrations to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the death of the Neapolitan acting legend, Eduardo De Filippo.

Also finishing on Saturday 8th November is ‘Caesar Augustus 2000th anniversary of his death‘, an art exhibition showing the life and history of Gaius Julius Caesar Octavianus Augustus, at Castel dell’Ovo.

Distant Future: The Sea‘ finishes on Sunday 9th November at Città della Scienza (Naples Science Centre).  The event provides a huge exhibition, conference-show, debates and meetings with scientists, science and creative workshops, performances and a series of films and documentaries.

Of course there are more events currently on around Naples, details of which you can find on our events pages.

Have a really fantastic weekend. 🙂
