I guess you like the new layout, so we’ll stick with it! 😀  Here are all the fun things going on this weekend.


Tonight, Thursday 23rd October, ‘Begin Again‘ is being shown in ENGLISH at the Cinema Modernissimo, as part of their weekly series of movies in original language.

If you’re looking for something musical, then why not try the Travel Notes quintet concert on Friday 24th October at the Auditorium Salvo d’Acquisto.

There’s a fantastic event on Friday 24th and Saturday 25th October, in Piazza Dante, for the young people of the city – ‘Youth on the Move‘.  It gives school children and university students information and chances to discuss moving around Europe by means of European mobility programs.

Saturday 25th October, a wonderful experience for all the family, a night time visit to the Solfatara crater.  A guided tour, followed by the chance to eat fish cooked using the steam from the Solfatara and to try some local Agnanum Falanghina wine.

For all you ballet lovers, the ballet of Anna Karenina is on at the San Carlo Theatre on Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th October.

I’m sure living in Naples you’re all massive Napoli fans……..! Good! Sunday 26th October – San Paolo Stadium – Napoli vs. Hellas Verona.

Starting today, Thursday 23rd October, is the exhibition ‘Tanzio da Varallo meets Caravaggio‘ at Palazzo Zevallos.

Starting on Saturday 25th October and running until the 28th October, at the Mostra d’Oltremare is the Forum of Mediterranean Cities.  An international event that aims to support the Mediterranean relations among local authorities, to promote local democracy, rights, and peace through the “city diplomacy” and innovation within local government.

On Monday 27th October, ‘Verio interprets Neruda‘ starts at PAN.  An exhibition of paintings based on the works of Pablo Neruda, with narration by a group of actors.


Finishing on Saturday 25th October is ‘Sette giorni di sacrosante risate‘ – a series of debates in Italian at the Chiesa di San Severo al Pendino.

Saturday 25th October sees the last day of ‘Un Tesoro d’Oltremare‘ – a guided tour of the greenest and most fascinating spaces of the Mostra d’Oltremare, with a special treasure hunt for children.

Also at the Mostra d’Oltremare, and finishing on Sunday 26th October, is ‘LA MOSTRA SI MOSTRA‘ – a guided tour – a fascinating journey amongst history, modern architecture, splendid specimens of exotic and mediterranean flora, fountains and water features.

The MilleunaCina Festival finishes this Sunday 26th October – A busy schedule of events which recount, under different aspects and through different languages, what represents the “Dream” of contemporary China.
