I’m here again with suggestions of fun and interesting things to do this weekend.

Tonight, Thursday 25th September, ‘Pasolini‘ is showing in English at Cinema Modernissimo, as part of their regular ModOriginals series of films in original language on Thursday nights.

There’s a special event on Saturday 27th September, which returns to Pozzuoli after TEN years – “It’s fashion… Pozzuoli“, 7 nationally known designers showing off their creations, with the presentation of the ‘Ecellenze Campane‘ prize.

On Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th September, the San Carlo Theatre presents ‘Don Checco‘, a vivid and lively, humorous operetta in Italian.

If you like having a wander round a market, then head down to the Lungomare for Naples Antiques Market.  The market is on on Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th September.

If you prefer a food market, then there’s the Campagna Amica Coldiretti Markets on Saturday 27th September in Piazza S. Di Giacomo in Posillipo and on Sunday 28th September in Viale Campi Flegrei and Piazza Immacolata.  The farmers markets are a chance to buy local products and healthy and affordable food with low environmental impact.

On Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th September there’s ‘La Piazzetta dei Sapori‘ in Torre del Greco.  Food, music and artistic performances, celebrating Torrese/Neapolitan culture and traditions.

Ending this Sunday, 28th September, is Solveig Cogliani’s exhibition, ‘Diarius‘ at the Maschio Angioino (Castel Nuovo).

Last, but not least, this Wednesday, 1st October, sees the return of the Naples International Happy Hour.  A chance to meet new and old friends from all over the world.

Of course there are more events currently on around Naples, details of which you can find on our events pages.

Have a fab weekend! 🙂
