Did you have a good week? Did you enjoy the events I suggested last week? Let me know what you thought of them.
This weekend has a distinctly international feel.
On Sunday 16th March – Naples very own American football team, Briganti Napoli, play their first match in the Serie A of the IFL (Italian Football League) against Warriors Bologna at the Parco Virgiliano. Football, music, food and cheerleaders, what more could you ask for?!
Monday 17th March is, of course, St. Patrick’s day, so here are a list of some “Irish” pubs for you to check out. Click on each one for a link to their website or Facebook page so you can find out what they’ve got going on this weekend: Druidpub – Pozzuoli, Jackpub MusicShow – Vomero, Blackwood – Vomero, James Joyce – Fuorigrotta, Frank Malone – Vomero and Hickory Guinness Pub – Vomero.
If you’re not feeling particularly international, then on Saturday there is also the wonderful Naples Antiques Market at the Villa Communale, and don’t miss the ‘In girolamini’ photography exhibition at the Girolamini Monument Complex, which ends on Sunday 16th March.
Last but not least, don’t forget (Italian) Father’s Day (St. Joseph – San Giuseppe’s day) or ‘Day of the Zeppole’ on Wednesday 19th March.
Of course there are many more events currently on around Naples, details of which you can find on our events pages.
Have lots of fun and enjoy your weekend. 🙂
