How was your week? Good, I hope!
As always, there are lots of lovely events for you this weekend.
This Sunday, 6th July, sees the last of the events organised for Family MADRE #2 at the MADRE. A morning of exploration of the museum’s collection, and children’s (and adults’) interpretations of the works on display.
At the Castel Sant’Elmo, until 27th July, there is an interesting exhibition, ‘1924 – 2014. La RAI Racconta l’Italia‘, detailing the history of the media company, with memorabilia and even a television set from the 1960s, re-created using original equipment!
If it’s the sea you love, then head down to the Lungomare on Sunday 6th July for the conclusion of the ‘Le Vele d’Epoca a Napoli‘ event. On Sunday there will be classic parade of all registered boats in the waters off the Lungomare.
Now summer is getting into full swing, there are lots of festivals and series of events.
There are loads of great things organised as part of ‘Summer at the Racecourse Park 2014‘. From horse and cart racing under the stars, to open-air theatre. There really is something for everyone.
The Ravello Festival 2014 started on 21st June. This weekend there are a number of events; a symphony orchestra, a meeting with an author and a concert by Pino Daniele. For the full program, click on the event.
Finally, Sunday 6th July is an ‘Ecological Sunday‘, which means that you cannot drive within the city between 9:30 and 13:00. To further encourage people to be green, there are a number of events organised around the city, to promote recycling and caring for the environment.
Of course there are even more events currently on around Naples, details of which you can find on our events pages.
Have a great weekend and remember your suncream! 🙂
