Good day to you lovely people! 🙂 Lots of lovely things happening in fair Napoli this weekend.
If you don’t fancy that, then on Tuesday 21st April, ‘Dallas Buyers Club‘ is being shown at the Cinema Academy Astra, as part of the CLA’s series of films in original language.
Fingers crossed that the beautiful weather continues, if so, why not take a guided tour around the Terme di Agnano. GAN (Gruppo Archeologico Napoletano) are conducting guided tours of the ancient site on Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th.
If you fancy doing something active, whilst also raising money for a good cause, then on Sunday 19th there’s the ‘Walk of Life 2015‘, an event organised by Telethon, with either a 10km competitive road race, or a non-competitive, fun 3km walk. Registration take place on Saturday 18th at the specially erected village in Piazza del Plebiscito.
If you’re looking for something a bit different this weekend, then why not try a Medieval style dinner at the Taverna S. Maria de Domno in Salerno, on Sunday 19th April.

Tonight, Thursday 16th, the Alessandro Scarlatti Association 2014/15 Concert Season continues with Stephen Hough in concert at Castel Sant’Elmo.
Every Friday night, at the Casa d’Arte, there is a date with Teatro nel Piatto, an exciting blend of cabaret, singing and theatre of the absurd, seasoned with touches of Mediterranean cuisine, orchestrated by Pasquale Della Monaco, to raise money to help restore and re-open the Villa Ebe and its gardens to the public.
On Sunday 19th at the Museo Diocesano (Museum of the Naples Diocese), there is ‘Caravaggio at the Museo Diocesano – 21 Tableaux Vivants‘. An enactment of some of the masterpieces of Michelangelo Merisi.
