The big event for this weekend is the Festival of San Gennaro, a very special event for Neapolitans, steeped in history and tradition.  The liquefaction of the blood is Saturday 19th.

On Saturday 19th, at the Le Lune del Vesuvio estate, there is the grape harvest, with particular attention paid to children, and involving them.

Also on Saturday 19th is the Holi Dance Festival at the Agnano Racecourse.  The Festival is inspired by the original Indian Holi festival and is all about togetherness and colour.

On the 19th and 20th September, at the PalaVesuvio of Ponticelli, the Italian national women’s volleyball team will face Germany, for the III Edition of the Grand Gala of Campanian Volleyball.

Pompei, un’emozione notturna‘ started on 5th August, and runs until 20th September.  The project has been created to appreciate one of the most extraordinary and most visited archaeological sites in the world, which is offering the public summer evening visits, light installations, artistic suggestions and cultural meetings, at the ruins of Pompeii.

Every Sunday, enjoy ‘Sundays at the Solfatara‘, a walk around a natural oasis, at the Solfatara.

On Sunday 20th there is the Serie A match of SSC Napoli vs Lazio at the San Paolo Stadium.

As part ofIn the footsteps of the Grand Tour, there are the following events: Every Sunday in May, June, July, September and October, for  ‘The Campania of Wines‘, there are guided tours with dedicated transport to villages, castles, archaeological remains and museums combined with winery tours and wine tastings between art, history and traditions;  Every Saturday from May to October, for ‘The Campania of Flavours‘, there are guided tours with dedicated transport in art places, villages and monuments combined with visits to producers to observe the production process, flavor workshops and tastings of typical products in order to discover and appreciate the Slow Food Presidia and products of excellence in Campania; Every Sunday in May, October and November, for ‘The Campania of Music‘, there are a series of events with guided tours to the notes of melodies that have enchanted and captivated the world, breaking down the barriers between classical and folk music. As part of the Pompei Festival, ‘Tosca‘ is on tonight, 17th, ‘La Traviata‘ is on on Saturday 19th and ‘Nabucco‘ is on on Sunday 20th, all at the Teatro Grande in Pompeii.


From Friday 18th to Sunday 20th, at the Mostra d’Oltremare, there will be the VideoGameShow – a new festival dedicated to video games and YouTubers from the sector.

From 11th to 13th and then 18th to 20th September, the Festival of the Orient is coming to the Mostra d’Oltremare.  Excitingly, in collaboration with the festival, on 12th and 19th September, there will be a traditional Holi Festival, a wonderful festival of colour and friendship, also at the Mostra d’Oltremare.

Every weekend there is the Campagna Amica Coldiretti Market at various locations in Naples and the surrounding area.

Every Sunday in the pedestrian area of Via Diaz, there is the Mercato del Contadino – a wonderful market of all the best local produce.

Every Sunday at the Hippodrome Park of Agnano, there is an antique, craft and flea market.

Every Sunday at the Fiera di Nocera Inferiore, there is the Salone Dell’Usato, a large, covered market, selling crafts, antiques, collectibles and modern antiques/art.

Don’t forget, every Sunday at 10.30 there is a mass in English at the Christ Church in Naples.
