This Sunday, 21st, is an “Ecological Sunday“, so there is a driving ban around the city centre. ¬†Check where and when you can/can’t drive if you are wanting to use the car.

Tonight, Thursday 18th June, ‘Fury‘ is being shown in English,¬†with Italian subtitles,¬†at the Cinema Modernissimo, as part of their weekly series of movies in original language.

Friday 19th, Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st are the last 3 days of the ‘Photography and Work’ course. ¬†A full immersion theory/practical course of three days with Francesco Cito to get to know photojournalism and his background with these difficult, but exciting, photographic genres.

Every Sunday, enjoy ‘Sundays at the Solfatara‘, a walk around a natural oasis, at the Solfatara.

As part ofIn the footsteps of the Grand Tour, there are the following events: Every Sunday in May, June, July, September and October, for ¬†‘The Campania of Wines‘, there are guided tours with dedicated transport¬†to villages, castles, archaeological remains and museums combined with winery tours and wine tastings between art, history and traditions;¬† Every Saturday from May to October, for ‘The Campania of Flavours‘, there are guided tours with dedicated transport in¬†art places, villages and monuments combined¬†with visits to producers¬†to observe the production process, flavor workshops and tastings of typical products in order to discover and appreciate the Slow Food Presidia and products of excellence in Campania; Every Sunday in May, October and November, for ‘The Campania of Music‘, there are a¬†series of events with guided tours to the notes of melodies that have enchanted and captivated the world, breaking down the barriers between classical and folk music. From 15th June until 19th July, there are special summer camps for children, organised through PAN. ¬†‘Discover the City 2015‘¬†is a weekly study program to meet the needs of the families in the summer period, when school has finished, but families aren‚Äôt yet on holiday.


From tonight, 18th June, until 30th June, at the San Carlo Theatre there is ‘Cinderella‘.

Every Friday night, at the Casa d’Arte, there is a¬†date with¬†Teatro nel Piatto, an exciting blend of cabaret, singing and theatre of the absurd, seasoned with touches of Mediterranean cuisine, orchestrated by Pasquale Della Monaco, to raise money to help restore and re-open the Villa Ebe and its gardens to the public.

On Saturday 20th, Subsonica are in concert at Arenile Reload.

As part of ‘Suggestioni all’imbrunire‘ series, there are two concerts at the Pausilypon Archaeological Site:¬†A piano and saxophone concert¬†on Saturday 20th; ‘Damar√Ļ‘ on Sunday 21st.


From 19th to 28th June, there is the ‘Fiera della Casa‘ at the Mostra d’Oltremare. ¬†Fiera della casa¬†is the most durable fair in Italy (58th edition in 2015) and one of the most important events in southern Italy, dedicated to interior design, furnishings, garden furniture, handicrafts, fashion and so on.

The Space – Pizza Village‘ runs from Tuesday 23rd to 28th June in Torre del Greco.

Every weekend there is the Campagna Amica Coldiretti Market at various locations in Naples and the surrounding area.

Every Sunday in the pedestrian area of Via Diaz, there is the Mercato del Contadino – a wonderful market of all the best local produce.

Every Sunday at the Hippodrome Park of Agnano, there is an antique, craft and flea market.

Every Sunday at the Fiera di Nocera Inferiore, there is the Salone Dell’Usato, a large, covered market, selling crafts, antiques, collectibles and modern antiques/art.


The ‘Mana in Naples‘ exhibition at ART1307 ends on Friday 20th.

The ‘Picture of Life‘ project exhibition at PAN ends on Monday 22nd.

Don’t forget, every Sunday at 10.30 there is a mass in English at the Christ Church in Naples.
