Tonight, Thursday 11th June, ‘The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel‘ is being shown in English, with Italian subtitles, at the Cinema Modernissimo, as part of their weekly series of movies in original language.

GAN (Gruppo Archeologico Napoletano) are running guided tours of the Carminiello ai Mannesi Archaeological Complex on Friday 12th.

On Saturday 13th, there is the monthly AIWC (American International Women’s Club) meeting at Christ Church.  They invite all English-speaking women to join them for a morning coffee.

From 15th June until 19th July, there are special summer camps for children, organised through PAN.  ‘Discover the City 2015‘ is a weekly study program to meet the needs of the families in the summer period, when school has finished, but families aren’t yet on holiday.


Every Friday night, at the Casa d’Arte, there is a date with Teatro nel Piatto, an exciting blend of cabaret, singing and theatre of the absurd, seasoned with touches of Mediterranean cuisine, orchestrated by Pasquale Della Monaco, to raise money to help restore and re-open the Villa Ebe and its gardens to the public.

As part of ‘Suggestioni all’imbrunire‘ series, there are two concerts at the Pausilypon Archaeological Site: ‘Olokun‘ on Saturday 13th; ‘Cafone!‘ on Sunday 14th.

On Sunday 14th, there is the last in the series of concerts for the ‘XIII edition of the Festival Barocco… Partenope & Europe’ – The Orchestra Scarlatti Young at the Chiesa di Ss. Marcellino e Festo.


Every weekend there is the Campagna Amica Coldiretti Market at various locations in Naples and the surrounding area.

Every Sunday in the pedestrian area of Via Diaz, there is the Mercato del Contadino – a wonderful market of all the best local produce.

Every Sunday at the Hippodrome Park of Agnano, there is an antique, craft and flea market.

Every Sunday at the Fiera di Nocera Inferiore, there is the Salone Dell’Usato, a large, covered market, selling crafts, antiques, collectibles and modern antiques/art.


Yesterday, 10th June, the ‘Taaffe Wool‘ exhibition started at Casamadre.

The ‘Pasta al nero di seppia‘ exhibition opens today, 11th June, at the Alfonso Artiaco Gallery.

From tomorrow, 12th June, the ‘Picture of Life‘ project exhibition opens at PAN.

Don’t forget, every Sunday at 10.30 there is a mass in English at the Christ Church in Naples.
