The “Project XXI” ideated
to explore contemporary art
will start on December 12th
at Palazzo Reale
with the exhibition of Jimmie Durham
“Wood, Stone and Friends”.
Stones, pieces of wood and trunks,
known as architectural materials for excellence,
are free from the traditional metaphorical associations,
such as monumentality, stability and permanence
in the belief that the greatest effects
are achieved with the smallest things.
The exhibit will run through February 27th 2013,
