October 04, 2012 - November 20, 2012
Piazza Bellini 59, Naples

Nea Art Gallery in Naples

presents

“Transparency and Colour”

by Salvatore Emblema.

The exhibition is a tribute

to the artist that comes from Terzigno,

a small town close to the Vesuvio,

died in 2006 at the age of 77.

Emblema started his path making a series of collage,

using withered lives and

making portraits through chromatic modulations,

using materials like stones and minerals,

collected at the foot of Vesuvio.

At the same time,

cinema’s world and fashion’s world

got interested in his activities:

he worked with Fellini and drew models and clothes

for the designer Shubert.

He is one of the best

contemporary artists.

Free entrance.
