presents the exhibit

The Rural Contemporary Landscape

at the Sala Dorica at Palazzo Reale.

The exhibition on Rural Contemporary Landscape by architect Nicoletta Ricciardelli, from an analysis on the situation of the Territorio di Vico as an important exception in the system of the greater metropolitan area, although not immune from the risk of progressive change and environmental degradation.

The various avenues of research undertaken, has seen the cooperation of many organisations and institutionsat the international level, with the aim of developing guidelines and project opportunities proposing a method of participation in the construction of a path of protection, enhancement and development of the rural landscape of the Sorrentine Peninsuala using the Vico as a laboratory for experimentation and prototyping of efficient and resilient governance.

Reflected in the exhibit of elaborated documents, the the more poetic vision of Giovanni Genova that accompanied the research, the photos from the exhibit Paesaggi Sublimi taken in the landscape.

Alongside the exhibition of graphically and educationally elaborated documentation, the exhibit The Landscape of the Gods and the Work of Men: Two Photographers, One Territory, in which artists like Libero De Cunzo and Fabio Donato interpret the territory their own way, yielding very personal images to the area that magnify new values for the landscape.
