Futuro Remoto 26th Edition
The 26th annual edition of Futuro Remoto
will be at Naples Science Center,
Città della Scienza, October 4th through
November 4th 2012.
This year’s edition of Futuro Remoto,
Le Fabbriche del Cielo, Factories of the Sky,
offers visitors an interactive journey through
space to discover the great expeditions of
the past and to learn about space and
aerospace research and innovations of the
future, accompanied by Vicky and Ebe,
Futuro Remoto’s two extraterrestrial guides.
According to Città della Scienza, this is
an amazing interactive tour into space, for discovering the main innovations in the field of scientific research and the latest results of the space industry: a journey through Science and Science-Fiction.”
Starting from the cosmological evolution of Universe, the exhibition will offer a journey towards the new space frontiers and the latest results of space industry. Great attention will be dedicated to the presentation of the newest models of space probes, satellites and space vehicles: among them, IRENE – the space vehicle entirely realized in Campania.” Read more here…
As in years past, Futuro Remoto has planned a full calendar of events, meetings, conferences, laboratories and more. It will also include a series of films by Universal Pictures and scientific documentaries by the GeographicChannel.
Futuro Remoto runs October 4th – November 4th 2012 and is open Tuesdays – Saturdays, 0900 – 1700, Sundays, 1000 – 1900, and Special Fridays, 0900 – 2400.
Tickets are €7,50 for adults and €5,50 for children ages 3 -18 years. Entrance to the Planetarium is an additional €3,00.
