For the first time in Naples, a performance
of Giuseppe Verdi’s AIDA in a colossal form.
300 artists, majestic scenes, a 12 meter
high pyramid, an Egyptian temple and
obelisks, and monumental statues, as part
of a new and magnificent scenery.
The costumes and decorations were
produced and processed by hand in Egypt,
as were the collars of pearls and precious
stones, and various ornaments.
